This is the 1st Week in Advent. We are at the beginning of the liturgical year and the countdown to Christmas. The highlight of the week is Feast of St. Andrew the Apostle on Wednesday. First, the Mass readings for the week. I encourage everyone to follow the readings throughout the week.

Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Protesters Against Prayer in School. There were some good speakers and there were some bad ones. Blazing Cat Fur, has some good video. The counter protestors though is where the real story is this time I think. Well this kept going on until there were about three or four in there really causing a roucus and a police officer stepped in and told her to get back to her own side.
